A project that helps young people consciously take care of their future
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Secure Your Future is an international project of the My Future Foundation, implemented as part of the Erasmus+ program, which will take place from June 30th to July 9th, 2026, in Jedlnia-Letnisko. The project will bring together 36 young people from Poland, Portugal, and Romania, along with youth leaders and a facilitator, creating a space for learning, exchanging experiences, and building international relationships.
The project aims to raise awareness among young people about how to build a better and more responsible society. Participants will work on topics such as online safety, mental health and well-being, relationships, civic engagement, environmental stewardship, and making informed educational and career decisions. The project combines non-formal education with international group work, movement, reflection, and action.
Why is it important? Young people are increasingly faced with information overload, pressures about the future, stress, online threats, and the difficulty of making informed decisions. Secure Your Future addresses these challenges by creating a safe and supportive space for developing self-awareness, self-confidence, social skills, and everyday life skills. The project demonstrates that caring for the future involves not only career planning but also nurturing relationships, maintaining mental health, protecting the environment, and upholding one’s own values.
The program will include workshops, team activities, intercultural activities, and a trip to Warsaw. Participants will develop collaboration skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, building healthy relationships, and a greater awareness of their own development path. International cooperation and strengthening European solidarity through contact with young people from different countries and cultures will also be a key element of the project.
Secure Your Future is a project for people who want to better understand themselves and the world, gain practical knowledge, meet inspiring people, and return with renewed energy, greater self-confidence, and a more informed view of the future. As the infopack emphasizes, this is not just an educational event, but a true journey designed to help young people become more inclusive, confident, and action-ready.
